Privacy notice

RMJ Aircon Services ("we") respects your privacy and handles personal information in line with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173). This notice explains what we collect through this website, why, and the choices you have.

What we collect

When you send a booking, quote, or pricelist request, we collect what you enter in the form:

  • your name and your phone number or email address;
  • your city or municipality, the service or concern, the services you want quoted, your preferred date, and the number of units;
  • any message you add, and the date and time of your request.

When we reply by email from our system, we keep a record of that email (recipient, subject, message, the names of attached files, and when it was sent) with your request.

Our web server also records technical information such as your IP address and browser type, as most websites do. We briefly use your IP address to limit repeated form submissions and prevent spam.

Why we use it

  • to respond to your request, confirm details, prepare quotations, and schedule service;
  • to send the pricelist or information you asked for;
  • to keep a record of our communication and the service we provide;
  • to keep the website secure and working.

We do not sell your information or use it for unrelated advertising. We contact you only about your request unless you ask us for more.

Who can see it

Only our staff can view requests, through a password-protected admin page. We use a few service providers to run the site:

  • our website host, which stores request records in our database;
  • Google (Gmail), which delivers our email notifications and replies;
  • Google Fonts, which provides the website's fonts and receives your IP address when the page loads.

We share information with others only when the law requires it.

Cookies

This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. Only staff who sign in to the admin page receive a cookie that keeps them signed in.

How long we keep it

We keep request records and related emails for as long as we need them to serve you and to keep a reasonable record of the work we did. After that, we delete them. You can ask us to delete your information sooner (see below).

How we protect it

Requests are stored in a database that is not publicly accessible. Staff access requires a password, staff passwords are stored in hashed form, and sign-in sessions expire. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

Your rights

Under the Data Privacy Act, you have the right to be informed, to access your information, to have it corrected, to object to its use, to have it deleted or blocked, to data portability, and to claim damages. To use any of these rights, contact us using the details below. We may need to confirm your identity first.

If you believe your rights have been violated, you may also file a complaint with the National Privacy Commission at privacy.gov.ph.
